The museum now takes Group Tours Monday through Wednesday by appointment.
Want a tour guide? Groups under 20 people seeking a Guided Tour receive discounted admission (plus a docent fee). Simply add our Guided Tour Option at checkout.
Groups of 10–20 or more people that make a reservation will receive discounted admission and can tour the museum gallery at their own pace at their reserved time.
The museum offers guided tours for school field trips and groups of 20 or more people on a limited, appointment-only basis. Tours generally last 1.5 hours.

The Great Blacks in Wax Museum welcomes all individuals, adults, universities, tourism, community, and personal groups. We provide our exhibits with self-guided, guided, individual, audio, and group tours. Request a guided tour or reserve admission and lead your own group. We welcome all school-age learners! Request a guided visit led by trained educators or a self-guided visit, which allows you to lead your own students through the museum. You may also request a virtual school tour where we joins your classroom online.

Great Blacks in Wax is committed to providing learning experiences for kids, teens, and adults of all abilities. We tailor our programs to fit the needs, abilities, and interests of people with disabilities of all ages. Choose a guided visit with a tour, or a self-guided visit to explore the galleries with your group on your own. Additionally, we can adapt a guided visits for school groups to the varying needs of students.

Extended Tours
Spend half of the day in The National Great Blacks In Wax Museum then visit some of the other world famous African heritage sites around the Baltimore area. Orchard Street Church and Sharp Street Church are only a few sites to visit as part of this tour.

Exhibitons
National Great Blacks in Wax Museum houses over 200 life-size wax figure in dramatic, three-dimensional scenes that capture significant moments in history. Visitors go on a 5,000 year journey that begins in Ancient Africa and ends in today’s modern world. You will emerge from your journey with a greater understanding about a people’s story of struggle, determination, and triumph.
