40th Anniversary Brunch Celebration
December 09, 2023
Anniversary Brunch with Sponsors
On December 09, we celebrated the Museum’s long history of preserving and unapologetically telling the stories of African Americans. The Museum has become a mainstay in the Oliver Community of Baltimore City and a national treasure thousands visit yearly. The 40th Anniversary is a time for us to reflect on our past and take stock of the present to guide our future.
Molding History: The Making of the National Great Blacks in Wax

Artists Drew Anderson and Tracie Jiggetts portray founders Drs. Elmer and Joanne Martin, with a virtual behind-the-scenes field trip included.
