President Obama at The National Great Blacks in Wax in Baltimore
Barack Obama is getting an honor here in Baltimore that so far no other president can match.

Slowly rising out of the stage at the Murphy Performing Arts Center, Barack Obama is the latest Great Black in Wax.

"We wanted it to do justice to him and the image he portrays and what people see when they look at him." Great Blacks in Wax Museum founder Doctor Joanne Martin says.

Folks say the likeness is good....he looks presidential.

"As historic and joyous a moment this is it's one moment in history there is so much work for us to continue to do we still have children to raise and communities to make stronger." Martin says.
The statue will go on permanent display at the museum Tuesday January 20th morning
