However as I now stand, a man, and looking back at his accomplishments, the struggles, the successes and the blessings, I am awestruck and inspired by my father's life. I am proud that the community that he so diligently serves has chosen to recognize his lifelong efforts and accomplishments. It is [be]fitting that he be honored as a living legend."

Many times growing up, it seemed burdensome to be the son of a great man because I had to share so much of him with the rest of the world.

However as I now stand, a man and looking back at his accomplishments, the struggles, the successes, and the blessings, I am awestruck and inspired by my father's life.
